Recently I've been taking Melatonin to sleep and it works like a charm. I take 3 mg 1/2 hour prior to going to sleep and I sleep like a baby.

Would recommend it. :103631605

Would recommend only taking that if you really have to. Even then, certainly not on a nightly basis. Start taking it every night and the next thing you know you become dependant upon it in order to fall asleep. Not only that, but build a tolerance to it to where you need more and more as time goes on. Next thing you know you're chewing up half a small bottle per night just to get to bed. Proceed with caution.

Take a Benadryl with that Melatonin and you will sleep better - add a glass of port or good beer with it and even better.

Thanks.

FYI......Its one of the very few drugs that works with your brain's normal sleep/wake cycle, unlike many of the other rx drugs....its also not a "controlled" substance, is non-addictive, and your not likely to become dependent on it (so they say).......Also one of the very few that can be used long term.

i used this and it worked great a few yrs ago...but i developed a tolerance and found myself taking 2-3 to fall asleep, so i just decided to stop altogether. i also get crazy vivid dreams from it, so i got sick of waking up and feelin like i just went thru hell
